 FREE TRAINING FOR NEWCOMER YOUTH (15-25 YRS)
 This training prepares you to become
·         Camp Counselors
·         Sport Coaches
·         Recreation
·         Before/After School Program Leaders
 
What are the course outcomes
·         Fair play, responsibility & safety
·         Child development phases
·         How to teach movement skills through a teaching process model
·         Throwing, running, hopping, skipping, and jumping
·         Kicking & striking, balance, catching, agility
 
Who is eligible to participate in this opportunity
·         Youth  between the ages of 15-25 who are also:
·         Newcomer/immigrant youth
·         Not attending school (some exceptions will be made)
 
What is in it for you
·         FREE registration for eligible youth

·         A unique coaching certification number to keep track of all coaching credentials

What is the National Coaching Certification Program
The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is an internationally recognized coach education program for coaching development in over 65 different sports in French and English. Sports rely on NCCP certification as a benchmark qualification for coaching assignments, both volunteer and paid positions. This program is coorporated between Peel Chinese Community Service Hub and Coaches Association of Ontario
