Peel Newcomer Strategy Group in partnership with Peel Leadership Centre will present a full day workshop entitled, “Collaborating for Impact & Leadership”. 

Paul Born, President of the Tamarack Institute and an author of three books, will explore the challenges and opportunities of collaborative leadership in this interactive workshop by using inspiring stories and research from some of the most successful collaborations in Canada.

 

The workshop will focus on the following issues:

 

·         Why is collaboration a crucial social development strategy?

·         Why is collaboration filled with challenges and how do we handle these challenges?

·         Why collaborations succeed or fail?

·         Overview of the study of collaborative leadership

 

·         Different competencies/images of collaborative leadership
