St. Christopher House Youth HOST program will be participating in a city wide spelling competition for immigrant youth on Saturday February 27, 2010 from 10 am -4pm at the Science Centre.

We are co-organizing the event so we are really looking forward to having a youth in our area participate. In order to participate youth have to register with us before hand.  Youth will get a list of words to prepare for the competition when they register.   TTC and food will be provided the day of the event.

We will have two divisions junior (grade 7,8,9) and senior (10,11,12). We have around 20 spaces available that are first come, first serve.

 Requirements to participate:

-youth is in  grade 7-12

-English is your second language

-good sportsmanship
