Join Youth Assisting Youth as we host an Open House/Youth Gamers Event to celebrate YAY’s new location in York Region and the Partnership with the Maple Community Centre. 
 
This exciting evening will consist of information sharing, networking, gaining awareness, registering children/youth (6 - 15) , outreaching, recruiting volunteers (16 - 30), learning about the YAY Program and meeting some of the YAY Team. 
 
During the open house youth will get a chance to play games such as table tennis, billiards, board games, cards and some 5 pin bowling in the lower level of the community centre.

YAY is a not for profit organization which provides group and one to one mentoring to young people between the ages of 6 - 15.  Since 1976, we have mentored over 28, 000 young people. Our one to one mentors are aged between 16 - 30 and come from all walks of life, bringing both professional and life experiences to the youth we serve.  We conduct group programs for many of the young people including variety sports programs, afterschool programs, girl’s only programs and horseback riding programs among others.
