 SAVE THE DATE! - Wednesday OCTOBER 12 - 7pm to 8:30pm

Kundalini Yoga African American Elder to meet with frontline workers, youth and the community

What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga offers a window into how people can heal from trauma without talking about it.  It offers an opportunity for people to better manage stress as well using this non-western experiential practice.

Who is Krishna Kaur?

Krishna Kaur is an African American Elder who has spent most of her life in the study and practice of Kundalini yoga.  She has translated that study and practice into healing resources for the community and has chosen to specialize in making this technology available to young people as well as people working with them.

Krishna Kaur has practical experience and wisdom to share.  In addition she has distilled into a training program ways to make these resources accessible to young people who are commonly left behind.

Krishna Kaur co-created these resources in urban environments for youth in the US. She is currently spending her time traveling the world including North America and Africa to make these resources available to youth.

She has also created the Y.O.G.A. for Youth Network and Black Yoga Teachers Association in the U.S.  She is a senior teacher with 30 years of experience in yoga. She is wonderful.

She is currently visiting Toronto to provide a 40-hour course that prepares you to work with at-risk youth using Yoga and Meditation techniques. Open to all!
