FPYN strives to recognize the link between systemic oppression and the violence that initially brought frontline workers together to form the network. Our mission is to connect frontline workers to heal, learn and work for change. FPYN ensures that frontline workers, as community healers and builders, are able to access systems of support and training, reflection and advocacy, and information/resource sharing.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jenny Katz and I started FPYN when I was a frontline worker.

As many of you already know, I am soon transitioning to volunteer status. I have been learning some things about transitions but I know I will know a lot more many months from now when I have a chance to reflect on this experience.
