Trustees and Volunteers needed to work as a team supporting a Henson Trust, with very limited resources. Henson Trusts are designed as a purely discretionary Trust in relation to individuals receiving disability benefits. For further info on Henson Trusts see:

Fundraiser

 

Seeking a volunteer with fundraising skills/experience to work with an individual to raise funds for recovery from trauma. Treatment for this is not covered by the Health system.

This position requires meetings with potential donors and with the Trust Beneficiary in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. Medically supervised treatment costs are upwards $3,000.00/month. The current approach is to secure 7 funders donating $5000.00/year for 3-5 years (estimated).
