JOB POSTING MANAGER OF INTEGRATED PROGRAMS/ WRAPAROUND COORDINATOR

PEACH is a grassroots agency in the Jane and Finch community. We work with adolescent youth who have complex situations related to school and other domains. The PEACH staff team works cooperatively to provide a variety of resiliency-promoting activities for youth while and after they attend the PEACH School Away from School day program. We create strong connections with parents and caregivers.

Wraparound is an intervention used when a youth is facing several complex issues at the same time. It is a philosophy based on each youth’s “Voice”, “Ownership”, and “Access.” It is also a set of steps with each youth that develop trust, create a safety plan, set goals, make a plan to work towards the goals, create a community support team, and celebrate milestones.

This full-time position combines two different roles: (i) front-line Wraparound work and (ii) management of PEACH’s integrated program model.

• Report on programming to funders and stakeholders

• Seek opportunities to enhance opportunities for youth

and families.

Wraparound roles:

• Work with youth and their families in the strengths-based framework of Wraparound (as

summarized above)

• Build strong community partnerships, e.g. with schools, mental health services,

employment

• Model a way of talking to and about youth that emphasizes strengths and potential, and

avoids clinical labels

• Keep careful records of the Wraparound process

• Insure that the Wraparound approach is used throughout the organization, with other

team members forming Wraparound teams as needed, or become part of existing teams

• Evaluate, reflect on, and enhance the delivery of Wraparound

• Seek additional funding and support to sustain and grow Wraparound at PEACH
