PACT is very excited to announce the re-launch of our very popular music program called PACTRocks. We have secured a new music studio located on the Bloor Subway line and close to Pape station and are in the process of putting together a new team of dedicated musician instructors to deliver the program under the direction of PACTRocks Project Leader and vocal extraordinaire Paula Griffith. Just as before, this is an introductory project that will run on Saturdays from 10am-1pm for 7 weeks culminating with a community concert on the final Saturday. We have set a tentative start date of Saturday Feb 13th, 2010 but may start earlier or later depending on the number of youth enrolled. We need a minimum of 10 youth registered to make this project cost effective for PACT, so please send in those referrals ASAP to ensure a spot for your clients and stay tuned for more detailed information regarding the curriculum for the project along with directions to the music studio that will be provided in early 2010.

Please note that making referrals by email is always a good method as this creates an official record of the request and makes it much easier for me to manage at this end. I will always respond to let you know I have received your referral and that I have added the youth to the attendance list. The youth will always receive a welcome call prior to the project start date.

When making a referral on behalf of a youth, by email or telephone, please provide the following minimum amount of information:

1)   The specific LifeSkills project you are referring to (including location) and start date

2)   Name and contact info of Referral Agent

3)   Full name of Youth- (Please note: do not include last name of youth in subject line of email)

4)   Parent/Guardian Name

5)   All available contact info.

6)   Any special instructions or important info.
