For Youth Initiative (FYI) invites and encourages youth-led organizations working in the province of Ontario to complete FYI’s needs assessment geared towards discerning the capacity-building needs of youth-led organizations.

Here at FYI we are in the process of improving the supports offered by the Agency Mentorship Program, and its forthcoming toolkits, as well as collecting important information to guide the development of the Power of One Program.

Both of these programs will be offering capacity-building supports to youth-led organizations. The Agency Mentorship Program will continue to provide training and one-on-one supports, and will shortly be developing a series of inter-related toolkits available online for easy accessibility. Your feedback will help guide and direct future trainings and the material featured in these toolkits!

The Power of One Program will be connecting youth-led organizations with skilled volunteers who are motivated and dedicated to helping your organizations build capacity. The needs assessment will give us insights into youth-led organizations’ strengths and challenges, allowing us to find the best volunteers to support your work.

If you are interested in completing FYI’s Needs Assessment, please contact Christa (christa@foryouth.ca); she will provide the needs assessment and any guidance or support you may need to help you complete the needs assessment.

Our goal is to support your organization to become strong, sustainable, and effective, enhancing the impact of your programs and services in your community!
