RBC After-School Grant Applications Request. Deadline: March 12, 2012

Deadline:
Mon, 03/12/2012 (All day)

I am pleased to advise you that RBC announced its call for after-school grant applications for the 2012-2013 school year.  RBC is offering more than $2 million in grants across Canada to fund first-time and renewed grant recipients.  Charitable organizations that offer after-school programs are eligible to apply for a grant of up to $40,000 funded by RBC Foundation.

I am asking for your assistance in sharing news of this opportunity with organizations in that you believe would benefit from an RBC After-School Grant.  Please feel free to share this with as many prospective grant applicants as possible.

Proposals must be submitted to RBC by March 12, 2012.  Organizations wishing to apply for an After-School Grant may download the application from RBC's website at: www.rbc.com/afterschool <file:///\\www.rbc.com\afterschool> .

A panel of local citizens will review eligible proposals and determine which organizations will receive grants.  The complete list of after-school grant recipients will be finalized by early August.  If a program is selected in your community, I hope you will join in our celebrations with the recipient early in the school year.

RBC's After-School Grants Program, now in its 14th year, was developed to support community-based after school programs that focus on keeping youth safe and positively engaged after classes end for the day.  Since 1999, RBC has provided grants to 227 after-school program's totaling more than $25 million.

 Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

 Jennifer Tory
