Testimonial:
"The IPLACE program not only taught me the additional skills needed to be a successful job developer, it also taught me a lot about the Canadian culture and provided six weeks of practical work experience. During the practicum placement, I was able to practice the skills I had acquired in the actual workplace environment, obtain first-hand experience of the Canadian workplace culture, get a better understanding of my strengths and weaknesses within the Canadian context, and give a Canadian employer the opportunity to assess my skills and abilities.. I have no doubt that this program was instrumental in helping me to obtain a job at a level commensurate with my skills and experience." ~graduate~

IPLACE graduates have found employment as job developers/ job coaches, employment and workforce specialists, employment consultants, workshop facilitators, outreach workers, and information specialists.
