We are pleased to inform you of the upcoming schedule for the JVS Cashier Training Workshops. 
 
Participants will:
- Receive Basic Customer Service Training
- Receive detailed instruction and practice in cash register operation and cash control procedures needed to successfully meet employer expectations for entry level cashiering positions
- Be eligible for a certificate of completion and receive job leads to reputable retail employers!
- Learn how to multitask and conduct transactions to meet industry speed and customer service standards
- Demonstrate understanding of basic security procedures for processing different types of transactions
- Understand the fundamentals of reconciling and balancing receipts

WHO WILL BENEFIT?
Individuals who…
- Require Basic Customer service training as well as training using the cash register to improve chances for employment
- Are re-entering the workforce and require a refresher course
- Wish to increase their level of competency and the competitiveness with their counterparts
- Are looking for a program that will enhance their self-confidence and help to gain essential skills and knowledge that will assist them to advance their careers in the retail industry
- Have been applying to many retail jobs but have not received any call-backs due to lack of experience in the retail field

REGISTRATION
This is a fee for service workshop. Registration is required at least 48 hours (two business days) prior to the class start date. Early registration is encouraged to ensure enrollment in the class and to prevent cancellation due to low enrollment. Payment is due at the time of registration. Clients are not enrolled in class until payment is received....
Fee: $80.00 per participant
 
Next Training Date: Jan 18th & 19th, Jan 25th & 26th
Location: JVS Employment Source - Jane Finch
Time: 10 am – 3 pm. A total of 9 hours of instruction will be provided over 2 days.
 
Scarborough location trainings will take place Feb 8th & 9th
