Looking for great fall programming for a youth group or classroom? Then book a ReAct workshop!  ReAct (Respect in Action), is METRAC's unique peer education program. It's made of diverse and skilled youth who facilitate peer-to-peer workshops on violence from an anti-oppressive lens and using popular education techniques. Drawing from participants’ experiences we raise awareness, foster discussions, and explore how to create social change and stop violence in our lives and communities.

We offer 16 youth-created workshops on a variety of topics related to violence, including bullying, dating violence, anti-oppression, gender-based violence, masculinity, empowerment, and self-care. Our workshops provide a space that validates participants' personal experiences, challenges myths about violence, explores the roots and systems of violence, and encourages young people to take action to stop violence in their lives and communities. All youth workshops include interactive activities (e.g. art, drama, media clips, games) and are tailored to meet the needs of each group. Workshops complement existing school curriculum and youth programming, and facilitators can return for follow-up sessions, if requested.  Book a workshop here:  http://metrac.org/programs/info/wkshop_order.htm

 Workshop Fees (in the GTA):

1.5 hour workshop: $100

2-3 hour workshop: $200

(*please contact for workshop fees outside of GTA)
